A native of Ixtacalco, a town with strong cultural roots inside Mexico City. He developed his acting skills through circus performances and native dances. He started taking part in performances and live arts in 1998 with the Afro British artist Susan Lewis. From that year on he inserted visual elements and new media to his indivi - dual and collective pieces, with an accent on transdisciplinary work, emphasizing the use of the body and assembling elements of the native people with ritual dances, popu - lar masks, an oral narrative and space intervention, using artivism, videoperfor - mance and live art to generate unexpected encounters between the public and its active participation in the presentations. He was an active part of the artists associa - ted with La Pocha Nostra, as well as collabo - rator of the Wid Tourus and NON GRATA art collectives
